Pauline was born in Great Britain but has lived most of her life in Canada.
Her home and studio are located in White Rock, British Columbia.
Thirty-five minutes from Vancouver, home of the 2010 Winter Olympics and five minutes from the U.S./Canada border.
For over two decades she created woven tapestries using hand dyed fibre.
She currently uses various methods of surface design on silk, wool, linen and other
natural fibres to express her vision.
****************
Her desire is to encourage all artists working in fibre and textiles to think "Outside the Box"
There are no limits to what can be accomplished when we let our imaginations soar.
Don't be limited by the materials or somebody's conception of what you can do or not.
Fine art. Craft. What does it really matter? They are labels.
We have all been endowed with imagination and the ability to create in various ways.
BE INSPIRED. ENJOY. CREATE. SOAR ABOVE YOUR LIMITS.
*****************
"In my work I attempt to capture, in a small way,
some of the beauty of God's creation.
I delight in the texture and colour to be found in different types of fibre.
I enjoy using various techniques to express my vision
of the world around us.
I am grateful for the unique gifts we all possess
and desire to use mine to honour my Maker."
"The One whom you worship without knowing, Him I proclaim to you".
